I’m Christopher Douglas, working under the name C/D Photography, providing commercial and editorial photography, based in Sudbury, Suffolk — I work with clients across the UK and beyond.
I specialise in photographing people — whether at events, in campaigns, for education or for personal and corporate branding. My goal is always to create authentic, story-driven images that connect people to the heart of your brand or organisation.
With a background in graphic design and web development, I understand how powerful photography can be in shaping identity, building trust, and telling a visual story that resonates across print, digital, and social platforms.

Q: Who is CD Photography?
A: CD Photography is Christopher Douglas, a Suffolk-based photographer specialising in editorial, headshot, event, education and industrial photography. I help businesses, schools and organisations across East Anglia and London tell their story through honest, professional images.
Q: Where is CD Photography located?
A: I’m based in Sudbury on the Suffolk/Essex border close to Bury St. Edmunds, Colchester and Ipswich. I work across East Anglia, including Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, and London.
Q: What kind of photography do you do?
A: I focus on editorial-style commercial photography — including headshots and team photography, corporate events and conferences, education photography for schools and colleges, and industrial and manufacturing work.
Q: Do you photograph weddings or private events?
A: No, My focus is business photography.
Q: Can you take photos for my website or marketing materials?
A: Absolutely. I specialise in brand-aligned imagery that looks great on websites, social media, and printed marketing materials.
Q: Who do you work with?
A: I work with clients across many sectors — from food and drink and hospitality to creative agencies, manufacturers, education and service-based businesses.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: My day rate is £800, with £750 for each additional day, £450 for a half day and £120 per additional hour. All subject to your individual brief.
Q: Do you travel for shoots?
A: Yes, I travel throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, and London — and further afield for larger projects. Travel to locations within a 60 mile radius is free.
Q: What’s included and how long will it take?
A: Your edited photos are supplied as a high resolution gallery with unrestricted usage, usually within 3–5 working days, quicker if we agree that in advance.
Q: How do I book a shoot?

Q: Do you offer video too?
A: I focus on photography, but collaborate with experienced videographers to provide a complete visual package if needed.
Q: Do you edit and retouch your photos?
A: Yes, all my images are professionally edited and colour-graded to make sure they’re brand-ready and visually consistent.
